Exploring the Events of LRM's Process of Renewal

As pastors and church leaders consider the mission and vision God has given their church and challenges they face in accomplishing that vision, the following events provided by LRM are suggested for their consideration:

Congregational Motivation

Celebration of Abundant Life - COAL

  • Although we don't live our life on the mountaintop, many believers choose to live their lives in the valley. Since Christ came that we might have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10), the church must be living out a life that is reflective of all of the joy and fullness that is available.
A Celebration of Abundant Life is a special weekend devoted to exploring the promises found in God's Word so that we can reach out for the Holy Spirit to fill our lives to overflowing with His Presence. Members will experience and be encouraged to pray, study the Scriptures, build relationships and be practice ministry and evangelism.
Celebration of Faith - COF
  • "Once upon a time... "begins many stories. Except this story is not fiction - it is your story. It is your story written by the Author of all things. Each day, you are living out another chapter. How are others reading it? A Celebration of Faith is a special weekend devoted to living the Christian life as modeled in the First Century. During the COF, a group of team members will live among you, lead small groups and share their faith in Christ for the purpose of encouraging and challenging each person to make a more complete commitment to the Lord. Church members will be motivated, renewed and recommitted to their love for Jesus Christ and the work of the church.
Celebration of Prayer - COP
  • It is easy amidst the busyness of church life to lose sight of the Reason we are doing the work in the first place. How can we slow the treadmill and get back to a meaningful and significant life course? -- A Celebration of Prayer is a weekend designed to give the church a chance to reconnect with what it means to be a vibrant church of prayer. By spending the time to intentionally go back to the basics, we can awaken a new appreciation for prayer and its ability to change the lives of your members and people around them!
Celebration of Purpose - COPR
  • A Celebration of Purpose is a weekend experience devoted to gathering together to celebrate what we have learned through our study of God's Word and the fellowship with the family of God. Coming together to study, pray, share and see God's work in our hearts and those around us has been a time of spiritual growth that is worthy of rejoicing and celebrating.
Celebration of the Word - COW
  • A Celebration of the Word is an opportunity to dive deeply into the Word of God and celebrate the life-changing impact it can have when one invests oneself in it. The emphasis is on Scripture. Participants will be intensively driven into Scripture. At the conclusion of the weekend, there will be a deeper desire for personal devotion time and a deeper passion for investing oneself in both small groups and corporate worship. -- A Celebration of the Word is a weekend devoted to opening the Word, celebrating the Word and living the Word.
Equipping Celebration - Small Groups
  • Is your church desiring a renewal Celebration with more intense small group leadership training? The Equipping Celebration is designed to equip the members of your church to facilitate small groups. Members of a visiting team will give hands-on training through the process of a celebration event.
Leadership Renewal and Development
Basic Leader Training - BLT
  • Basic Leader Training Retreat (BLT) was developed to equip church leaders with the foundations for Christ-centered leadership of God's church.  It explores the mission of the church and the leader's role in pursuing that mission.  It defines and then provides practical methods for developing a church that is: Bible/prayer-centered, growing/caring, witnessing/evangelistic, giving and vision driven. -- The church leaders examine their own spiritual gifts in preparation for leading their members through the same process.  The BLT is an experience for churches that want to establish a strong foundation on which to grow both numerically and spiritually.

Leadership Effectiveness Training - LET
  • Leadership Effectiveness Training (LET) assists churches in building a strong architecture for growth and ministry effectiveness.  The LET focuses the church leaders and prospective leaders on ten components found in churches doing some of today's most effective ministry.  Each component is explored from a biblical perspective.  Specific issues and barriers are unwrapped and practical steps are determined to strengthen the host church in each area.  Plenty of small group interaction as well as large group brainstorming insure useful application.  A detailed participant's workbook insures that the valuable teaching is not lost.  The workbook also provides the church with an ongoing structure to equip future leaders.  Use of video sketches and excellent visual slides makes the weekend a fast-paced, stimulating experience
Workshops To Go
  • The team at LRM has developed a number of workshops that are now available "to go" for pastors and lay leaders. Each workshop is available as a Power Point presentation with a CD ROM. These basic workshops can be used to develop a customized presentation for your leadership team.
Master's Planning
Interactive Master Planning - IMP
  • Interactive Master Planning (IMP) is LRM’s tool for insuring that the local church uses the information from its Church Impact Analysis to build an intentional plan for the future.  Whether guided by a trained LRM consultant or self-guided, the IMP provides an easily followed template for planning.  The self-guided package contains a leader’s notebook, participants’ workbooks and a CD-ROM with the slides and forms needed to complete the planning process.
Spiritual Growth and Community Impact Survey
  • The work of the church is to make disciples. The challenge for leaders in the church is knowing whether they are really helping their members to grow spiritually. -- LRM has developed a very simple and very effective tool for measuring spiritual growth. By asking your members and visitors to evaluate their spiritual condition through the use of an easy to understand yet comprehensive survey, your church's progress will be easy to measure from year to year. The tool measures leadership effectiveness in nurturing spiritual growth and progress.
