Dr
Jim Martin has been living,
studying and teaching in Israel
since 1982
after serving four years in the
pastorate. His graduate studies in
Jerusalem, under Israeli scholars,
concentrated on the history,
geography and archaeology of the
Bible. Dr. Martin has a Master of
Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in
Biblical Studies and is ordained
in the Evangelical Presbyterian
Church. |

Dr
David Hansen is a retired Army
officer who has studied and
traveled extensively in the
Middle East.
He has a BA and MA in
International Studies and a PhD in
Biblical Studies (Old Testament
Archaeology). Author of
numerous journal articles and
author or co-author of five books
he has also taught at several
universities and colleges. He was
the President of the Associates
for Biblical Research for eight
years and is, presently, a member
of the Board of Lay Renewal
Ministries.

Marty
Guise is the Executive
Director of Lay Renewal
Ministries. He has a BA in
Education and earned a Graduate
Certificate in theological studies
from Covenant Theological
Seminary. He is the co-author of
Building a Church from the Top
Down and author and contributor to
many other books and articles.
Before joining LRM in 1996, he
served on a church staff as a
Senior High Youth Director. He has
served in the mission’s field in
Central America
and participated in various
opportunities across
North America
. He and his wife, Diana, have
been blessed with two children,
Drew and Katie.
