Is your church desiring a renewal Celebration
with more intense small group leadership training?
The Equipping Celebration follows the same model as the traditional renewal weekend. However, the team size is much smaller and includes intensive times of small group leadership training. Here's how it works: A visiting team will be invited that will allow for a one-to-one pairing with the current and/or future small group leaders (church team) at your church. On Friday evening, the visiting team will be paired with the church team during a Small Group Leader Training time. Together, these teams will overview the purpose of small groups, types of small groups and how to facilitate small groups. |

The church will gather Friday night for a time of praise and worship, testimonies and small groups. The small groups will be led by the pairings of members of the visiting team and the church team. On Saturday morning, the teams will meet again for a time of prayer, sharing and further teaching on small groups. They will then divide into pairings again and go to homes for coffees and small group times in church members' homes. The teams will gather again Saturday night and repeat the structure of Friday evening with additional training. This training will be followed by another church gathering. On Sunday morning, the teams will meet for one last time of fellowship, sharing and discussion of their experiences during the weekend. The church will then meet for Sunday school and worship (led by the visiting team members). Through the teaching and one-on-one interaction and paring up with at least three different visiting team members, the members of your church will be better equipped to facilitate small groups after the renewal weekend. Therefore, you will have the wonderful blessing of a time of renewal with the added treasure of equipping leaders. |
