Leadership Effectiveness
Providing church leaders with a systematic, scriptural model forshaping their churches to effectively accomplish God’s plan.
How to Sharpen the Focus of Your Leaders
Leadership Effectiveness Training is an equipping workshop designed to introduce church leaders to a new way of thinking about doing church. It is a scriptural architecture which will enhance their effectiveness as they lead congregations to accomplish God’s plan. LET is a proven tool designed to help the leaders in your church to be more successful as they seek to accomplish God’s will.
The Challenge
“The most serious shortage in our society is for skilled transformational leaders who possess the capability to initiate planned changed from within the organization.” – Lyle Shaller, The Interventionist
The Tool
Lay Renewal Ministries has been working with churches since 1954. During that time we have compiled a wealth of information identifying what we believe are the Components of the Effective Church (see list to the right). During this weekend retreat (Friday evening and Saturday until about 3:00 PM), each of these components will be explored with your leadership team. This will be a time for your leaders to bond together, study their role in the church and think intentionally about their responsibility to set and implement plans for the future. We believe that this retreat will be a valuable asset for churches of all sizes.
Our all-encompassing goal is to encourage your church to accomplish its God-given role: to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Upon registering for the retreat, we will send a preparation manual and a copy of the Leadership Effectiveness Training Participant’s Workbook for your perusal.
Through the use of this modular study, your leadership team will gain a new understanding of the significant role that leaders are to fulfill in their churches. Your leaders will study a scriptural architecture depicting the Ten Components of the Effective Church. As you embrace this architecture, you will build an environment in your church that is more conducive to vital ministry and healthy growth.
